I just wanted to say "thanks" for such a great experience working with you all at Mattie. John arrived early on Friday which worked out well for us. I hope his bus ride back was uneventful.

I appreciate all the time Nancy and Al took to communicate with me via phone, e-mail and overnight delivery. I found everyone I spoke with to be polite and efficient, but never rushed. It set a nice tone for me. And of course I was especially happy about the delivery. That really made the sale for me.

I just wanted to thank you for the pleasant holiday card you had sent us. We recently bought a Tiguan from your dealership and are really enjoying it thus far. We never got the chance to correspond, however I would like to say what a wonderful experience we had looking for a vehicle at your establishment.

We certainly had some miserable experiences while shopping for our second vehicle and it was quite refreshing to encounter an extremely professional staff that did not pressure us in either direction. We were taken care of by John Brereton and have nothing but kind words to say regarding him.

Dear Mr. Farrington,

On March 31, 2008 I walked into Mattie Imports with what many of my friends and family thought to be a crazy idea. Six months earlier, as a reward for finishing the university with a 3.93 gpa, I purchased a 2007 Rabbit from a different dealership. I was pretty happy with car. I had never owned a German vehicle before and I will really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the car. Of course being 20 years old at the time, I had to get a third party to approve me and of course wound up with a 12.99% apr. My family wasn't very pleased. During the 6 months I had the Rabbit, I started to think, if a Rabbit was this good then a GTI would be even better. I started looking online used GTIs and that was what brought me to Mattie Imports.

My crazy idea was to trade in my brand new Rabbit for a used 2006 GTI. Though I was upside down on the loan, my new found love for the VW and being a car enthusiast at heart, I would not stop until I was driving a GTI.

I have never met a group of people that were so determined to help me until the day that I walked into Mattie imports.

On March 31 I told the sales guy my crazy idea and on March 31 I drove away in GTI.

Not only did I get the car that I was dreaming about but thanks to everyone at Mattie, I was financed through VW, I got a 7.4% interest rate, I have a 100,000 mile warranty, I have a wheel and tire protection plan, I got GAP insurance and best of all even though I was almost $5,000 upside down on my loan when I went into Mattie, my monthly payment only went up by $40.

The subject line in this email was not a statement but a promise. I again have come up with another crazy idea. In order to fulfill my promise, I intend lease a 2010 GTI from Mattie imports in the very near future. All I am waiting for now is to save up enough money so I can cover the amount of what my GTI will get on a trade-in and the amount I have left on the loan. Yes I am upside down again but that will not stop me from getting this car. I will save and be in your door soon enough.

Well to wrap it up I just wanted to say that the experience at Mattie imports was the best car buying experience I have ever had. The balloon that got sent to my house with the thank you note and the 1 year anniversary card that I received in the mail just took you guys to a whole other level.
