So here we are, only two months left in 2009. Where did the year go? Well here it is November the season has changed, the snow is going to be piling on the ground soon, your family is going to gather for a big dinner and big man in a red suite is getting is shiny new reindeers ready for another trip. When all of this has passed we will then wish each other a Happy New Year and continue on in 2010. How fast the year(s) goes by.

Well I have to say that as we sit here in November these have the potential to be the best 60 days of the year. The VW "Sign Then Drive" sales event is back and for the last few years it has been a huge success. The "Season Of Audi" sales event is also in full force and if it is anything like last year it is going to generate some great traffic. Both VW and Audi know that now is the time to offer the best deals of the year and they are truly here.

I have been in the business since I was 17 years old. Now, 16 years later, I still get asked the same question year after year: "When is the best time to purchase a vehicle?" Many don't believe me when I tell them that it is in November and December. Many don't understand that this is when the Manufacturer's offer the best deals because they have egos'. They have goals set each year and they want to obtain them so they offer the best finance and lease options that have been available ALL year. Many with little or NO monies out of pocket. The other side of it is that the dealers have bigger egos' and when you are in the last quarter of the year it isn't about profits it is about numbers.

That is where we are right now. That is our game plan these last 60 days of the year. Our goal was to sell and deliver 600 Units this year, a number that has never been done in the 28 years we have been in business. We are close, not as close to where we wanted to be going into the final 60 days but close enough to be able to obtain it. We aren't worried about profits, we are worried about accomplishing something that has never been done before. We are worried about feeding our ego not so much feeding our wallets.
